The X Games just began and thé live stream is available here. So what's interesting there ? Well the pipe, the slopestyle, the real street. Shaun White passed the last two weeks training with Mikkel Bang for the slopestyle so, we'll see what he learned.

The X Games Real Snow are back in 2012 for it's second edition, this video contest version of the X gather together the top 8 of the best street riders; the format of the comp leave more space for creativity and originality. It seems like they finally understood that snowboarding is not all about a performance at a given moment.

DC recently opened yesterday a new facility in Meribel, France : the Area 43. Fluofun was there for the opening and we got the chance to see the 2013 DC Snowboards line ! So for next season we will have a new board, the Mega (a stiffer PLY) and the return of the classics : MLF, PLY, Tone, PBJ... a total of 9 boards for mens and two for womens (Women's PLY and Biddy). After the special serie Gigi Ruf "football edition" last season, Nike launch a new limited serie for... Nicolas Muller ! It seems that Nike love his european riders... and the backcountry. So here is what the boot look like, we bet it'll be super limited (for the one of Gigi it was 350 pairs).
