After Arthur Longo, we continueourseries of interviews with an another 22years old kid with mad steez :KeeganValaika. He fastly became a reference in street shreding for the "core" scene... while ripping the backcountry. And he never gives interviews, almost.
And to top it all, in order to introduce this first class interview, here is his part from the last Burton movie "Standing Sideways", exclusively on Fluofun !
There is no lots of girls doing backcountry. Annie Boulanger is a nice girl and she rides very heavy... She's discreet but she will be the only girl for the new Abinthe movie: Twelve, which features only 12 riders. The European premiere tour starts in less than a month so we took the opportunity of a recent trip to ask her some questions...
Drew Stevenson is a legend in the snowboard industry... After working 8 years with Onboard, he created his own magazine you might have heard of: Method Mag. After working there a few years, he left and founded the TTR World Tour. Nowadays, he has retired from this industry to work on projects to save our planet.
The Breathe Foundation is his latest concept. Interview.
From saving turtles, to getting two olympic halfpipe medals, going to the moon with chimps, getting inked by Jamie Lynn, and getting sponsored by energy drink/ running-shoe/ phone companies without turning into Ryan Shekler, snowboarder/rock star Danny Kass does it all. Check the full video (teaser), interview, and portfolio after the jump, and you'll see what we mean... or not.
Pat Moore is quite an impressive snow surfer. He is young even though he looks old, he can slide on urban architecture but can also jump very far in powdery snow. And on top of that, he is a skinny tattoed redhead living in a world of muscular tanned blonds. Interview with Pat covering his quick rise in snowboarding, Forum's image, his season, and filming (or not) for F' It.
As a bonus, here's the internet premiere of Pat's Forever part:
Check out his interview and portfolio after the jump.
Two weeks ago, during the French premiere of 9191 in Lyon, we sat down in a boat's lounge area for a talk with Gigi Ruf and his film maker, Jake Price.
Gigi lets us know what he's been up to, talks about his movie DVD and how it was made, and is such a good rider because... apparently, he just rides more than most others.
Check out his interview with Jake Price after the jump, along with a portfolio by Cole Barash.
Riding with Jeremy Jones
a while back, we took advantage of the chairlift to ask him a few questions about his ongoing projects. He gave us his point of view on freeriding, splitboards, his new snowboard brand and his latest video project: Deeper.
Here is the interview, brought to you with the Deeper teaser (for those of you who haven't been paying attention), a few pics of Jeremy's season, and a few bonus edits from the movie.
Here is Homies 2, the full video! From urban destruction to freeride line, going through backcountry kickers, Nico Droz's posse destroys it all... And exclusively on Fluofun, we bring it along a nice chat with Pierre Rue, 18 yo, the kid of the crew!
Yes, we admit it, we're french and we're starting the season by talking about one of the top french riders, Mathieu Crepel. Mathieu is now preparing for the Olympics, training on airbags and getting ready for next season. We met him at an X Games Europe party in Paris where all the guys from french TV and ESPN were (suits, free champaign, baggy pants and TV stars, yeah) that was a dope party for sure. Let's talk about the exxxxtremegames, doublecorks, Olympics, doublebacks, sponsors, suiich alley-oop backside double rodeo and have an exclusive look at his Standard Films' Aesthica part!
According to the tradition, Eid is the fete of exchanging gifts with the looming and dear ones to convey ostentatiously wishes and nourish the bond of intended possibly man shares ...
