Danny Davis: Interview + giveaways!

Danny Davis. This guy is one of the radest dudes on a snowboard, capilary speaking. Whether he is hitting a park, a pipe or some pow lines, the man is perfectly elusive. But we finally managed to corner him between two stupid things for this first interview of the season.
As an extra bonus, two of his sponsors, Nixon and Analog, are giving away some stuff for those of you who are able to read: watch, jacket... Enjoy.

Burton European Open : The portfolio

You probably already seen the footages from the Burton European Open in Laax but you know sometimes it just feel good to look at picture and enjoy the beauty and the technique (it can be more prominent than video). As we bring our photographer to the BEO, we ask him to cruise around the contest to let the creativity guide his camera. And as always with Germain, we're very happy with the result, here is what he end up with.

Danny Davis full part

Danny Davis is just the epitome of what good spirit and style is in snowboarding. Always smiling, Danny is not the last for messing around (whoopee cushion and all eh) and more ... he knows all the tricks, oh yes!
He injured his back while riding a quad (a barrier that was closed one evening during the Dew Tour victory, which avoid his chances from winning the Olympics. Fucking barrier... it was not easy to see by night, drunk while riding  full speed). Danny was back for a "calm" season to recover. Here is a longer version of his part in the Standing Sideways, a part "full of swag".

Danny Davis Full part

Since the Olympics and X-games are over, double-mctwists, double-cork 1440s, double flips, alley-oop to fakies and so forth have been getting rare. Danny Davis' part - the Burton remixed version - will make all the pipe lovers happy as it is made up of pipe only, as Danny got hurt and wasn't able to make it out to the end-of-season powder.
