Jeremy Jones is one of the most controversial riders out there, even more for us Europeans. But one thing brings no controversy: he's a freakin killer once on his board. He's old, that's a fact (1976? what's that? Jurassic rider?) but his ender part in "The B" was full of bangers. And you know what? Here it is. And you know what? After the jump you'll find an interview of the guy.
And we might add an ad Burton did about Jeremy Jones last winter, pretty funny. Live the dream.

Here is an interview Burton did with their own Jeremy Jones. Not our questions, not the way we would have done it, but still worth a good read.
Can you pinpoint the moment where snowboarding became more than just a hobby but a way of life?
I guess it would be when I realized I was spending every minute of my lunch hour in junior high posted up at the candy machine for everyone's change so I could get money for the weekend shred. And my mom getting on me for never doing homework, while I was glued to “The Hard, the Hungry, and the Homeless” in the basement.
How did you first get hooked up with Burton?
Downing poked at it for about a year before it happened, just sort of planting the seed ya know. Then Forum's contract was finished up and Rene Hansen and I swung a deal, had a meeting with Jake, and signed up for the grind.
What does riding for Burton mean to you?
That's hard to really call out one thing. It means a stable sponsor, product that hits the shelf that I had a part in, lots of resources, the best employees, team, production crews, R&D dept., etc. I never thought that I would ride for Burton and never really had that desire even. But now I look at it all, and it basically means I made it as a snowboarder. I am plugged into the beating heart of snowboarding!
What is the “Live the Dream” and Nicky Sticks theme on your 2010 graphic all about?
I just have seen the story in snowboarding so many times of the kid that wants it so bad, then becomes caught up in everything the industry want of him. Kid then blows it ‘cause it was just too much pressure from so many angles and a lot of times his or her own mistakes as well. It is also a story of the young kid that breaks into the scene and edges out the veterans of the sport. “Live the Dream” is just that, whether you're in it for three years or fifteen, we are all living the dream for that time being, and that is pretty special! Not many people will ever get that chance, so it's something to remember forever!
That's a funny question ‘cause in all reality it brings me full circle and back to home. My best days and most memorable days of the season tend to be at home, since they are less frequent than anything else. I have had amazing moments, in Saas Fee, Alaska, Minnesota, Canada, it's all special and memorable moments even in horrible times, they are stories and it's my life.
What do you consider snowboarding's most groundbreaking moment since you started riding?
Ingemar's method, JP's double cork, and Peter Line.
Who do you respect in snowboarding?
So many people for so many reasons! I have to go with my closest friends, though, in the end, JP, Mitch, Seth, Murphy, Bybee, these are the dudes that helped make me or helped me to keep going. I have the most respect for that out of anything.
What has been, hands down, your scariest experience on a snowboard?
My gap to lip in Northstar filming while filming “For Right or Wrong.”
You've been filming a lot for the new Burton movie. Any stories you can share with us?
It‘s been different than any other video I have done in the last 12 years. I shot most the season solo! All of my street stuff was two filmers, a photographer, and myself, so that was unique and a good experience really. To have to force myself to step up to tricks and street jibs and stay motivated, wake up tired, and keep going, the pressure was crazy and I really loved it. It changed the way I think and the approach to how I attack a trick, I learned a lot about myself. I thank Brad, Hooper, and Blotto for those times when I was down and they helped pick it up. I can't wait for the movie, it's gonna be sick! It has been a dope, weird, unique, and challenging year!
Any words of wisdom?
Only that you don't need words of wisdom, it's all in yourself, just dig and get off the couch.
